This is our 3rd long ride, as well as several smaller excursions. On this trip, the group decided on a name: The Arizonians.

Having gone too short a distance east the day earlier, we needed to cover ground quicker to make up an additional 150 miles. This day we ended up riding about 360 miles. We needed to shorten the length by skipping the ride along the lake Champlain and Port Henry. We targeted a direct run to Massena.

Day 3. Ride to Niagra. Sunday, September 11th. 7 hours. 345 Miles. Massena, NY, Cape Vincent, Oswego to Niagra Falls Live Google Map: https://goo.gl/maps/KEkqMCwuayK2 Map Snapshot:

Manny wanted to get another stamp on his passport. We decided to ride into Ontario just west of Massena. The morning was chilly and wet and a bit windy. After stopping for breakfast, we decided to followed the bridge at US81 back into the US to complete the planned route. From this bridge the views of The 1000 Islands were spectacular.

Day 4. Slide to the South via Punxsutawney. Monday, September 12th. 7.25 hours. 325 Miles. Niagra Falls to Grantsville MD. Live Google Map: https://goo.gl/maps/DWpe8sS8RUq Map Snapshot: Detailed Map/Notes:

Like Skyline Drive, this parkway is heaven to motorcycle riders. 469 miles of mountain curves of roadway, connecting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina to the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. We rode the entire length of this roadway and Skyline Drive, nearly 600 miles of non-commercial mountain riding.
