Map:

This ride we took, Berni and I and two new friends we met, Jim and Jayla, while staying in the area of Villa Ridge MO in 2016.
We are amazed at the beautiful green colors, 100s of shades of green.
The roads were super nice, smooth and in great shape. The rolling curves and hills really rolled nicely with the bike.
Wild Horse Creek Road was all it’s name implies. It is a much appreciated shady run, with horses and horse farms, and creeks lining the journey.
We had to keep this ride short due to the heatwave pushing temps into the high 90s with humidity indexes in the 3 digits. But we ended up doing it twice, the second time with the temperatures in the high 70s. Much nicer ride.
On the first run, we rode out around 8am and made it back to safe air conditioning just after noon. Including a 45 minute breakfast stop at Mimi’s Cage in Chesterfield, we were on the road for just over four hours. Our second run we took a little time to enjoy a coffee in Washington, MO before ending the ride.
