A Ride Along the Thompson River

Here’s a short video and some photos of a motorcycle ride my wife and I took in the summer of 2019 along the Thompson River in BC.

This video was taken in BC, just north of Lytton along Botanie Creek Rd which runs along the Thompson River.

We were doing a short detour off our main route, based on the suggestion from a local we met at the AFD gas-station. He told us to go up this road to see his uncle’s property where he had made a sculpture of a Harley Davidson motorcycle about 20 feet tall. We rode up to his home (right at the bend in the road, ( https://www.google.com/maps/@50.255145,-121.5640285,299m/data=!3m1!1e3 ), we saw many large sculptures on his property.

On the way back, we encountered these wild goats in the road.

Just one of many amazing experiences on the road.

Goats on the road on Botanie Creek Rd

Going slow to be safe the goats don't decide to run out in front of the bike.
